A recent report published in Science Daily found that receiving massage therapy for two months after the death of a loved one can help with grief. Evaluators looked at 18 people between the ages of 34 and 78 who had lost a loved one to cancer and found that massages provided consolation to each of them. Massage therapy for grief is something that has been known within the industry and among clients for quite some time because of the stress reducing properties of the practice, but now there is scientific evidence to prove it.
