Hello! I’m so pleased you’re here — and can’t wait to meet you.
Making the decision to put your wellness first is one of the most rewarding things you can do. When we’re at our best, we’re poised to help others be at their best. For me, being at my best means being able to better fulfill the mission behind Serenity Bodyworks and Massage: to help you ease your pain and release your tension at the hands of an experienced massage therapist.
I started Serenity after graduating from Sage School of Massage here in Bend, Oregon. Specializing in treatment and sports massage, I learned how to pinpoint pain both strategically and intuitively. My empathy carried over into relaxation massage as I watched people suffer from everyday stress and fatigue.
Once in the world of massage therapy, I quickly fell in love with seeing my clients’ lives changed once they’ve been able to release lingering injuries, chronic pain, and unhealthy stress.
Prior to starting Serenity, I worked as a commercial fisherman, fishing in Alaska during the summer and living in Washington in winter. Despite my tough core and inner strength, my giving spirit yearned for more.
The recognition that I wanted to help people live the best life they can, pain free, brought me to Sage. Despite growing up in Ohio and later moving to Washington State where I graduated as a Medical Assistant from Peninsula College, I found it difficult to leave the Bend community.
When I’m not providing pain and stress relief through massage — or finding ever-more learning opportunities to expand my practice — I’m finding my own form of therapy on the three acres my husband and I live on in the countryside. I can often be found walking our Shorkies, Zoey and Zippy, alongside our goats, Sophie and Hannah. My favorite place to be in this world is on a coastal beach, but coming home to wagging tails each and every day fills my heart.
I love the life I live. I want you to have that same feeling, every day.
At Serenity, I provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere where your wellness is our number one priority. Whether you’re in need of a one-time relaxation or ongoing restoration and rejuvenation, I look forward to working with you soon!
